First i have to say its located inside of a hotel but is not owned by the hotel.
We had dinner in their restaurant/bar, and I was honestly shocked by how good the food was. I was expecting (and would have been fine with) "kinda edible but hey, at least I don't have to stuff a four year old into the car again".
But nope, instead I was blown away by what came out of that kitchen - totally at odds with my expectations. Pizza was thin and charred on the bottom in the best way, burger was fat, juicy and a perfectly done medium, fries were made from real potatoes, and the mozzarella sticks were fantastic.
Service was really friendly and personal, and while the place isn't a showpiece of swank decor (on par with what I'd expect, clean and functional), they seem to be trying really hard to do the best they can with what they have. -

Don't patronize this place the owner doesn't like to pay his help.then he lies to them and says its in the mail

Great pizza. Service was spot on. Too bad the beer taps were broken tonight. Albany special was delicious.

Ugh
Good good, server ok.
Arrived at 4:10, location is part of the breakfast buffet area of a low/mid range hotel. Bar area of hotel actually. Upon arrival doors open no one there. I spoke to hotel employee who told me the place was open, so I sat at one of about 8 tables with my two daughters. After a few minutes a server arrived with menus. We were optimistic.
Ordered sampler platter of appetizers, chicken fingers and a pizza. Very specifically told server to put in order of all good at once and bring it out as it was ready. After 15 minutes we were informed that the pilot light for fryer wasn't on, apps were taking a bit longer. Fine. Pizza should be out soon. Shortly after another couple who came in and ordered after us got their pizza. I asked server about that and was informed that pizza hadn't gone into oven yet, they were waiting til appetizers were served. !!!! Had many words with server who acknowledged I said put in entire order at once, but she didn't do it (hello, Orchard Tavern, same thing). Why is this so hard?
45 minutes til any good arrived. As first customers of night arriving 10 minutes after opening.
Good was good, pizza had nice crust.
Beer taps not working (noted by someone else in another review weeks prior to my visit).
I will give them one more try, due to Groupon type deal, hope for better. -

I wasn't impressed. the dough on the pizza was good but the cheese was just alright and there was barely any sauce. the sauce that was on it was pretty gross though, it made the whole pizza seem low quality. the calzone I got was better than the pizza, probably because they forgot to give me sauce with it! The calzone was just ok though, I've had better and I've had worse. the wings were ok but they skimp on the sauce. they do a dry rub wing, which is cool, I love dry rubbed foods, but the rub they used didn't have much flavor. the texture of the wings is good, but one time when I got wings there was a chunk missing from one, it looked like someone took a bite out of it! You're better off walking across the parking lot and going to Scubber's.
